FeCrAl Alloy
Available Grades:1Cr13AL4、0Cr25AL5、0Cr21AL6、0Cr23Al5、0Cr21Al4、0Cr21AL6Nb、0Cr27AL7Mo2
The product has high resistivity, low temperature coefficient, good oxidation resistance, but also has the advantages of high temperature resistance, light weight and cheap price, but the plasticity is poor and not easy to weld, and the grain increases after high temperature heating, brittleness. The products are used to make heating materials in industrial electric furnaces, household electric furnaces, and infrared heating devices.

Advantages and disadvantages of Fe-Cr-Al alloy
①High use temperature, such as HRE (OCr24Al6Re) Fe-Cr-Al alloy wire in the atmosphere of the maximum use temperature can reach 1400°C;
②Long service life;
③High allowable surface load;
④Good oxidation resistance, AI2O3 film formed after oxidation has good chemical resistance and high resistivity;
⑤Specific gravity is less than Ni-Cr alloy;
⑥High resistivity;
⑦Good sulfur resistance;
⑧The price is significantly lower than that of nickel-chromium alloy;
⑨The disadvantage is that as the temperature rises, the performance is plastic, and the strength is low at high temperature;
Product usage and maintenance
1、 Usage
(1)It is forbidden to use for a long time over temperature and overload;
(2)When the furnace temperature is 400 ℃, rapid cooling is not allowed;
(3)Do not touch the electric furnace wire during charging and discharging;
(4)When the furnace is working, often pay attention to whether the red and green light on the control panel is normal, and the red and green light should be exchanged once after a period of time, so as not to burn the electric furnace wire due to the failure of the control switch;
(5)Pay attention to the working condition of the instrument at any time, and analyze and deal with it in time when the furnace temperature and the instrument indication are abnormal;
(6)For furnaces with a capacity of more than 100KW, each heating zone should preferably be equipped with an ammeter for inspection, and an ammeter should be installed in each phase of the three-box high-temperature electric furnace。
2、 Maintenance
(1)After three to four months of use, the surface condition of electric furnace wire should be maintained;
(2)Pay attention to indicate the positive and negative poles of the electric furnace wire, and exchange the positive and negative electrodes once every three to four months;
(3)When disassembling the terminal post, care should be taken not to hit and knock the exit rod;
(4)The bolts leading out the terminal clamps are prone to oxidation loosening and should be checked and tightened regularly.
